As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional, Cris wants to help you maximize your savings and enjoy retirement. “While I handle many areas of personal finance, I especially enjoy prepping people for retirement,” Cris says. “I love watching someone’s face light up when I tell them they can retire.” Cris also spends a good deal of time helping families find ways to save on taxes. He focuses on comprehensive financial planning that looks at the entire picture, from income and investments to taxes, estate planning and more. “When it comes to retirement planning, we want to do the heavy lifting for you,” Cris says. “Our motto is ‘Plan. Retire. Play.™’ We think you should plan well, so you can retire and go play.” Before becoming a financial advisor in 2014, Cris worked for nearly 20 years in the automotive plastics industry. He has a bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University. He earned the designation of Chartered Financial Consultant ® in 2016 and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional in 2021. “I tell my clients I don’t want to die the richest person in the graveyard,” Cris says. “I want to make memories with my family now, so that’s what I encourage them to do, too. Life is short.” Married to Jen, Cris has three children, plus a Boston Terrier named Rosie and a Cane Corso named Nala. Cris enjoys spending time at the beach, taking his family out to eat, and hiking, biking and camping. A huge Minnesota Vikings fan, Cris also makes it a priority to lift weights and play basketball and softball whenever he can. Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) owns the certification marks CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® in the U.S., which it authorizes use of by individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
